Live: run the night
The Live tab is designed to be run from your phone in one hand: the night at a glance, approvals on the left, the wall on the right.
The numbers#
- Shots, with how long ago the last one arrived.
- Guests joined, out of your guest cap.
- Waiting for you: items in review, with a note on whether they auto-approve.
- Screens: how many walls are paired and their layout.
Pause guests#
Between courses, or a speech nobody should be photographing? Tap Pause guests. While paused:
- Guests see The host has paused things for a moment. New photos, wishes, booth shots, photographer uploads and shot purchases are refused until you resume.
- The big screen keeps running with what is already there.
- Nothing wraps up: no film, no keepsakes, and your reopen is not used.
Tap Resume in the banner and guests' cameras come back on their own within about 20 seconds.
Approvals#
If you review photos, up to 40 waiting shots and any waiting wishes appear here. Tap ✓ to approve and ✕ to hide, or Approve all. When review is off the card says Queue clear. Review is off, so everything goes straight to the wall. For a bigger view open the Album.
Create a Volunteer crew code for a bridesmaid or colleague and they can approve shots one big card at a time from their own phone. Crew codes.
The wall#
- Open wall opens the landscape wall on this device (and ticks the readiness item). Door signage opens the portrait version.
- Resting density: Single, Spotlight, Duo, Trio, Grid or Mosaic, with a live preview. Changes reach every wall in under a second.
Cues#
Cues take over the whole screen and hand back to the photos on their own:

While a cue is on, a strip shows it with Back to photos. A cue you fire always wins over a run-sheet cue.

Screens#
One screen needs no pairing: just open the wall link on it. To run several screens with different layouts (a foyer TV on Mosaic while the stage runs Spotlight), pair them:
- On the extra screenOpen
aine.cam/wall. It shows a six-letter pair code. - On your phoneIn Live › Screens, type the code, give the screen a name like "Foyer TV", and tap Pair.
- DoneThe screen switches to your wall. Each paired screen can Follow the main layout or hold its own, and can be unpaired at any time.
