After: film, keepsakes, archive

When the night is over, one tap on End event sets everything in motion: the camera closes, the highlight film is cut and guests' keepsakes go out.

Ending the event#

While the event is still active the top card offers Pause for now and End event. Ending asks you to confirm: The camera closes for guests, their galleries go out and the film renders.

• Before you end, give guests a few minutes for any shots still waiting on their phones to send. Shots not sent by then are not added.
• If you forget, AINE wraps the event for you three days after its start once nothing new has arrived for 48 hours.
• You can also end the event from Settings › Status.

Reopening#

Ended by mistake, or a late batch of photos to add? You can Reopen an ended event once, within 7 days of ending. The film re-cuts when you end it again. After that, email support@aine.cam with your event code.

The highlight film#

AINE cuts a highlight film from your event's best moments in two formats: Vertical for phones and stories, and Widescreen for screens. The highlight film is included on Shine and Solstice.

• The film is cut once the event is ended, usually within about 30 minutes. Status messages tell you where it is: Queued, Cutting now, or ready to play and download.
• Pin favourites with the ♥ in the Album and they lead the film. Pinning after the film is ready re-cuts it within the half hour.
• If a cut does not finish it retries on its own. After three failures you see Try again and the AINE team is alerted.

Music#

Choose None (the film carries the live sound from pinned clips), the AINE library (preview tracks, filter by mood, Use this) or Your own track (MP3 or M4A up to 15 MB, after confirming you have the rights to use it). The track loops and fades. Changing music re-cuts an existing film.

Keepsakes#

The Keepsakes delivered card counts guests whose personal gallery has gone out. Keepsakes are emailed, after the event is ended, to every guest who left an email and has at least one approved shot. Each keepsake holds the guest's own shots, the highlight film when there is one, and your replies to their wishes. See Keepsakes.

Report, wishes book and archive#

• Report: a one-page A4 summary of the night. Event report.
• Wishes book: Open the book to view it online, or Printed copy to ask for a printed quote. The Well Wishes Book.
• Archive: Download all for a ZIP of every photo and video that is not hidden. Receipt and invoice links appear here on paid events.

Next year#

Annual dinner or anniversary? Rebook creates next year's event with the same settings, look and run sheet, dated 52 weeks on so it falls on the same weekday (a year in the name moves up by one). Check the date in Settings. On a paid event the button reads Rebook and pay and goes to checkout for the same plan at today's price. If you leave checkout, the new event waits on Spark.
